Become a Verified House of Vere Member

 House of Vere and The Royal Dragon Court take bloodline verification seriously. Our tartan represents verified heritage, family history, and lineage, so it is important that the process remains clear, honest, and transparent.

There are two options depending on whether you already have your family tree prepared or whether you need genealogical research carried out for you.

 If you already have your family tree written out and believe you are connected to the Weir, Vere, de Vere, or associated bloodlines, you may apply for verification.

The verification fee is £250.

This fee covers the review and verification of the genealogical evidence you provide. It does not include the creation of a family tree from scratch.

You must provide your existing family tree, documents, and any supporting evidence needed to prove your connection.

Once verified, you will become a verified member and will be eligible for member benefits.

 If you do not already have your family tree written out, verification cannot be completed until genealogical research has been carried out.

Genealogy research is a separate service from verification.

If you require your family tree to be researched, written, or built for you, this will be quoted and charged separately depending on the amount of work required.

For Genealogy clients, a discount is applied for the verification process.

The £250 verification fee only applies once there is a completed family tree and evidence ready to review.

 Once verified, members will receive:

10% off all future House of Vere orders.

Verified members will also receive £50 off their first order, provided the first order is over £250.

This discount applies after verification has been completed and approved.

 Once a person is verified, their direct bloodline family members may also be recognised through that verified line.

This includes:

children
parents
grandparents
direct bloodline descendants

This means that if a parent is verified, their children are recognised as part of that verified bloodline.

Spouses and partners are warmly welcomed as part of the wider family and community. However, bloodline verification applies specifically to the person with the proven genealogical connection and their direct bloodline relatives.

Spouses may be included socially and respectfully as part of the House of Vere family, but they are not classed as bloodline verified unless they also have their own verified genealogical connection.

Verification does not mean that House of Vere will create your family tree for the £250 fee.

The £250 fee is for reviewing and verifying the evidence already provided.

If you need your genealogy researched or your family tree created, this must be arranged separately.

This process protects the integrity of the tartan, the bloodline, and the verified members who have provided genuine evidence of their heritage.
